Training for your life…
MAXIMISE - OPTIMISE - VITALISE - ENERGISE
It's an obligation, a covenant you agreed to when you were given this human body.
It's your responsibility to keep it as fit and strong as you can. For two reasons:
Firstly, because it’s possible that one day you'll absolutely need it. It's conceivable that your future existence at some point will come down to your pure physical capability. At that point money, a fancy education or flash car won't count for much.
In that moment, everything will rely on your strength, endurance, grit and mental toughness.
It will come down to you and your physical ability.
When it's do or death, those training sessions, those intervals, those tough training days, all that time pushing yourself past what you thought you were capable of, will pay off.
The second reason is that your fitness doesn't just concern you. It’s important to your family and friends. People depend on you.
It’s likely that you are someone's father, mother, husband or wife, someone's best friend or someone's provider, a protector of children.
It's possible that one day they'll need you to be highly physically capable. Hopefully just to bolt after the runaway family dog, but perhaps it could be more serious.
